Welcome to Than Hsiang Temple Zhu Nian Homepage. This page was created to notify our Zhu Nian members to participate in the support-chanting for the deceased. Our aim is to provide support to the deceased, to be mindful and take rebirth in Amitabha Buddha’s Western Pure Land or Land of Ultimate Bliss.
In the Amitabha Sutra, Shakyamuni Buddha along with all Buddhas of ten directions repeatedly urge the giving of Three Provisions (which is Faith, Aspiration and Practice), to be born in Amitabha Buddha’s Pure Land. By chanting Amitabha Buddha’s name, it provides a practical guidance and creating merit which to be transferred at the end of the chanting session.
净土宗十三祖印光大师遗训,
“净土法门，别无奇特，但要恳切至诚，无不蒙佛接引，带业往生。。。
念佛见佛，决定生西。。。”
